The painting was relatively simple, though it took me quite a while. I painted the Demigryph first, using Zandri Dust followed by Balor Brown for the skin tone, then Celestra Grey on the feathers and Averland Sunset for the beak. This was followed by an all-over shade of Agrax Earthshade, then another layer of Balor Brown or Celestra Grey, with a highlight of White Scar on the feathers and Yriel Yellow on the beak. The eyes were painted with Altdorf Guard Blue and Abaddon Black.
The knights and all the armour were next. Most of the armour I painted Abaddon Black, with a highlight of Eshin Grey. Other major details were painted with Balthasar Gold, then shaded with Agrax Earthshade, before being finished of with a layer of Gehenna's Gold. The yellow details were painted in the same way as the beak. When I finished all the other details, I added a coat of 'Ardcoat varnish to the black armour in order to give it a shiny, metallic appearance.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with how they turned out, I look forward to using them in battle. In the practice games I've played with friends, they have dominated in almost every game, due to their high Strength and Attacks values. This is also probably due to the fact that the games we have been playing have all been very small, only around 350 or 400 points. Once I get some more units for my armies, they will probably be a more reasonable proposition to take down.
